これは当時パルコのポスターだったと記憶するが、赤いレオタードを着た女性が鮮烈で、これで何ができないかと考えて、ともかく「ポスター」として描き出した。いつも絵の出発はほとんど意味を持たないが、何かその周辺に物語が生まれないかと閃くのを待つ。
I remember this was a poster for Parco at the time, and the woman in the red leotard was so striking that I wondered what I could do with it, and anyway, I painted it out as a “Poster. The starting point of a painting always has little meaning, but I wait for a spark of inspiration to see if a story can be created around it.
